The Notes tab on the Client Details page provides a space where you can write general notes about your client.
This notes section is meant to be an all-purpose notepad for miscellaneous thoughts and observations that aren't specifically associated with any other forms or reports. For example, you might use it to jot down:
- Something a client told you during an appointment that you want to make sure you remember.
- An idea or suggestion you thought of for that client.
- Reminders to yourself about future topics you want to cover with the client.
Notes characteristics:
- Notes are completely private and are visible only to the practitioner. Your client will never see these notes from their client dashboard.
- Notes are timestamped so you know exactly when they were written. You can sort your notes from new-to-old or old-to-new by clicking the Added On column header.
- Individual notes have a character limit of 1500 characters, which looks roughly like this:
How to write notes about a client
- Go to the My Clients page, and find the client you want to take a note about. Click their name to open their profile.
- On the Client Details page click the Notes tab.
- Click the +Add a New Note button.
- Type your note in the Add Note dialog. When you are finished, click Save.
- Your note appears at the top of the list.
- You can Edit (left) or Remove (right) a note by clicking the buttons in the Action column.
