Notes Tab

The Notes tab on the Client Details page provides a space where you can write general notes about your client.

This notes section is meant to be an all-purpose notepad for miscellaneous thoughts and observations that aren't specifically associated with any other forms or reports.  For example, you might use it to jot down:

  • Something a client told you during an appointment that you want to make sure you remember.
  • An idea or suggestion you thought of for that client.
  • Reminders to yourself about future topics you want to cover with the client.

Notes characteristics:

  • Notes are completely private and are visible only to the practitioner.  Your client will never see these notes from their client dashboard.
  • Notes are timestamped so you know exactly when they were written.  You can sort your notes from new-to-old or old-to-new by clicking the Added On column header.

  • Individual notes have a character limit of 1500 characters, which looks roughly like this:

How to write notes about a client

  1. Go to the My Clients page, and find the client you want to take a note about.  Click their name to open their profile.

  2. On the Client Details page click the Notes tab.

  3. Click the +Add a New Note button.

  4. Type your note in the Add Note dialog.  When you are finished, click Save.

  5. Your note appears at the top of the list.

  6. You can Edit (left) or Remove (right) a note by clicking the buttons in the Action column.
