Linking Nutri-Q with Stripe Connect

Note - On January 6, 2025, we are upgrading the Stripe integration from Stripe Express to Stripe Standard. All practitioners who were using the Stripe integration will need to re-link their accounts using the instructions on this page.

All payments accepted by practitioners on Nutri-Q are processed by Stripe.  As a practitioner, you can link your Nutri-Q account with Stripe in order to accept payments for Packages and Appointments.  You do not need to have an existing Stripe account to use this feature.  Follow the steps below to link your account with Stripe.

Linking your Stripe Account

  1. In the bottom-left corner of the interface, click the gear icon and select My Account.

  2. Click 3rd Party Integrations in the left sidebar.

  3. Click Link Your Stripe Account.
  4. Enter the email address you wish to use. You may use your practitioner email address, but this is not required.  If you already have an existing Stripe Account, you can enter the email address associated with that account to link your existing profile.

  5. Create a password and click Submit.

  6. On the next page you are asked to choose a two-factor authentication method for your account.  Entering a phone number where you can receive text messages is the easiest and most common choice, however you can also use an authenticator app or security key if you are comfortable with those methods.

  7. Enter your phone number and click Send text to receive a one time passkey.
  8. Check your text messages and enter the six digit verification code.

  9. The next screen will provide an emergency backup code, you can use to log into your Stripe account if you lose the phone/device used for your two-factor authentication.  We strongly recommend you download this code and save it somewhere safe as a text file.

  10. Begin entering your business information by selecting a location and type of business in the drop down menu.  You should select Individual as your business type, unless you are part of a larger organization which is better described by one of the other options.

  11. Enter your personal details and click Continue.

  12. Select the Industry that best describes your business.  Do not select the Supplements and Nutraceuticals option.

    We suggest any of the following options:
    • General Services
    • Miscellaneous General Services
    • Nursing/ Personal Care
    • Professional Services
    • Chiropractors
    • Massage Parlors

  13. Enter your website and provide a product description.  If you do not have a standalone website, you can enter a social media profile that you maintain for your business.

  14. Select the institution where you do you banking or manually enter your bank account information.  All payments you receive through Nutri-Q will be sent to this linked bank account.

  15. Stripe offers an optional climate commitment. You can click No Thanks to opt out of this, or select one of the available tiers if you desire.

  16. Your Stripe account is now linked!  On the Account Information page, there should now be a tag that says Linked, as well as a link to Open your Stripe Portal.
