Appointments Page

The Appointment page is where you will access all the settings and tools related to scheduling for your practice.

  • Set your working hours.
  • Create appointment types.
  • View and manage your calendar.
  • Find scheduler links that you can send to clients or embed on your website.

Make sure you complete your Scheduler Set Up before continuing.

Once you complete setup, your Appointment page should look something like the image below. In this article we’ll walk through the different sections.

Scheduler Settings

If you ever need to view or edit any of your global scheduler settings, click the the Scheduler Settings button in the top right corner of the page. This will display all your settings in one view and allow you update any of them. You can read more about scheduler settings on this page.

My Schedule

The calendar view in the center of the page shows all your past and future appointments.

1. Add

In the Add menu, you can book an appointment for a client, or block time on your calendar.

  • New Block - Block time on your calendar so clients can's book appointments during that time.  Learn more about calendar blocks here.
  • New Appointment - Book an appointment on behalf of one of your clients.  Learn more about booking appointments here.

2. Today, Back, Next

Use these buttons to search forward and backward through your calendar.  The scope of these buttons changes depending on the which current calendar view you have selected.  For example, when the Monthly calendar is showing, Back/Next will move to the previous or next month. Clicking Today always brings the calendar back to the current month, week, or day.

3. Month, Week, Day

Change the scope of the calendar.  By default, the calendar shows a Monthly view which displays all your appointments for the current month.  You can select Week or Day to view your schedule in closer detail.

4. Appointment Details

You can click any appointment on your calendar to show the Appointment Details Window.  This window provides additional information about the appointment including client details, contact info, appointment type, and appointment time.

  • You can click Edit to reschedule the appointment.  A dialog opens where you can modify the appointment date and time. A notification is sent to the client if you reschedule an appointment. 
  • You can click Cancel to cancel the appointment.  A notification is sent to the client when you cancel an appointment for them.

Working Hours and Appointment Types

Below your schedule view you’ll find the ‘Working Hours’ and ‘Appointment Types’ modules. These give you quick access to view and edit your working hours and appointment types:

 

Helpful Information

To the right of these modules, you’ll find the ‘Helpful Information’ module, which gives you access to your Scheduler URL. (This is the link that you can send to clients so that they can book an appointment with you.) This module also as information on embedding a calendar button or the full scheduler in your own website:
